Why increase in BSD now?

My opinion:

1. With recent increase in en-blocs take-ups and property market sales on the rise. Thus it's about time to cool down the property market a little.
2. If you notice, the increase in buyers stamp duty this round is a mild increase and will unlikely dampen the overall market sentiment as much as certain cooling measures in the past.
3. Property prices will likely rise up steadily in the coming months.
